Wouldn’t it be cool to be able to see deleted messages (or disappearing messages) in a WhatsApp group? Turns out, you can.
While you could theoretically just screenshot or save messages manually, nobody is going to do that for each and every message. Instead, there is a tool that handles that automatically – called WHAMetrics.
All you do is add the group to WHAMetrics (more on that below), and it will essentially maintain a backup of all messages in the group, even if those messages are later deleted. You can of course do this for multiple groups at the same time.
Here is how that works:
Yes. Once you locate the deleted message in WHAMetrics, you can simply copy it and save it to the location you want.
Same as above, this works even if the sender selected “delete for everyone” when deleting the message. Since the message has previously been saved in your WHAMetrics backup, you will still see it.
Yes. As long as the group has been added to your WHAMetrics at the time that the message has been sent, you can still see it even after its “disappearing” timer has expired. It will be viewable same as other messages, deleted or not.
Simple – on the Messages tab in WHAMetrics, select the group you want, and then enter the sender’s name or number into the filter. You will see only that sender’s messages, including those that have been deleted.
